Brown Dwarfs are a class of objects that are intermedate between planets and stars.They cannot maintain hydrogen burning fusion reactions , although many of them can fuse lithium . Almost all of the output of a brown dwarf comes from gravinational contraction . Brown dwarfs can be between 20 and 80 times the size of juipter. Depending on the composition of the object, hydrogen fusion will start at 75 to 80 jupiter masses.
